Masters Downhill & Turning Clinic [BEING RESCHEDULED]

$65.00

NOTE: due to the 1/28-29 snowstorm and weather impact forecasted, we are rescheduling this clinic for a later date TBD.

Navigating downhills and turns (especially when combined!) is one of the most difficult skills for many cross-country skiers to master. This clinic is designed to teach skiers how to execute turns and cruise downhills safely, while simultaneously optimizing speed and performance.

Time: TBD

Location: Dublin School Nordic Center

The clinic will be instructed by Rob Bradlee, an award-winning coach who will teach you the valuable tips and tricks he has learned from skiing some of the most challenging race courses in the country. For footage of Rob navigating the infamous hairpin downhill turn at Waterville Valley, NH, click here!

Participants will be taken through a series of drills to gain an understanding of the downhill and turning issues skiers commonly struggle with, and will receive personalized guidance on areas where they can improve. All participants will also receive video analysis of their technique (emailed after the class), along with analysis, drill recommendations and follow-up guidance from Rob Bradlee.

IMPORTANT: The Dublin School requires that all participants complete their online waiver in order to use the trails. A one-time skier donation of $10 for trail use is also encouraged if you haven’t already made a seasonal contribution to help with maintenance and grooming.

Ski equipment will NOT be provided by FTN, so participants must own skate skis, boots and poles, or rent some for the class.
